The Green Party of Utah Officially Announces Candidates

The Green Party of Utah (GPUT) formally endorsed five candidates at its Annual Spring Convention on April 21, 2018. After a robust panel discussion addressing audience questions on a variety of topics, the five candidates were unanimously voted in as official candidates of the GPUT. “We are excited to have a slate of candidates for voters on the 2018 ballot,” stated Ashlee Phillips, GPU
T Co-Chair. “ These candidates are dedicated citizens who not only represent the values of the Green Party, but who are also passionately dedicated to serving the people of this state by developing policies that ensure a sustainable future.” Candidates are building their campaigns to focus on issues such as education, environment, gender and disability wage gap, transportation and health care, including medicinal and recreational marijuana.
